Solar Feed-in-Tariffs are rising

House with Solar Panel

For the past few years, solar FiTs have been constant, and retailers not so interested. But with the wholesale price of electricity rising, rooftop solar is becoming more valuable for solar owners and retailers. And now retailers are competing more in this space.

I think June each year will soon become ‘Solar Feed in Tariff Announcement season’. At least for solar nerds like us.

(This is just NSW rates, as we are in the Sutherland Shire)

Here is the info on the increased Solar Feed-In-Tariffs for various retailers we have at the moment, and will update as new information comes forward:

Word of warning: Some retailers have separate rates for solar owners. They may offer a great Feed-In-Tariff, but also provide higher rates for consumption.
